A Birmingham, Alabama woman called Kyesha Smith Wood has demonstrated some brilliant parenting skills recently after a Facebook plea showed exactly how you should deal with misbehaving children. Kyesha had dropped three of her kids at a movie theater to watch the new Lily James and Cate Blanchett-starring Cinderella flick. But later that night, she’d heard that her two daughters had acted rude and obnoxious and ruined one family’s evening out. Kyesha was, understandably, disappointed and livid.
Here’s what the horrified mom said:
It didn’t take all that long to reach the lady in question after the girls’ mom’s message found its way on the Jefferson County Sherriff’s Facebook page. This is what she replied:
“I am the mom from the movie theater. I had taken my daughter to see Cinderella..I was very upset and disappointed in the girls behavior…the note from their mom brought me to tears and shows there is still good people in the world. I have no hard feelings towards them and I am proud of their parents. The girls are not not bad…they are children. Glad they are learning a lesson. I hope if my teenagers are out and they act up…I hope someone says something to them.”
